Seamus Brady and Fergal Mckenna proudly showing their 3rd Dan certs that they received from Hanshi McCarthy at the recent seminar that was held in Beech hill sports hall.

The grading took place in NUI Galway November 2007

Monaghan Karate Club

Was first formed in 1996 by Fergal Mckenna and Seamus Brady. It is one of the most successful karate clubs in Monaghan having produced many top quality black belts and competitors.

The club also has interests in kata application which gives the memership a direct line to the grass roots of karate.
