Bio: Monaghan Shotokan Karate club was first formed on 1996 by Fergal Mckenna and Seamus Brady.
It was formed to fulfil the needs of the Monaghan people as there was no real proper martial arts clubs in the county only clubs that opened and closed very quick in a short time. As there was no real martial arts devotion or serious instructors the MONAGHAN KARATE CLUB WAS FORMED and has went from strength to strength ever since.
The club has now got up to 100 registered members with up to 70 members training twice weekly!
